Swim Meets: 
Before you can participate in meets and some of the open water events you must register with the Master Swimming Ontario (MSO).
The fee is $10 and is included on the registration form. For meet info send an email to Sonia Lopes  and myself Sonia will need your full name, address and birthday she will then register you with the MSO. The MSO membership runs from September to September.

Open water swims:

The open water swims are great training for the tri-athlete no biking and running after..just like when you run a marathon...
I know it is holiday time but this could be a fun for us as a club to participate in. I would like one or two people to be organize this open water group helping out with registration etc...If you which to swim the open water events some events you must register with with the club and pay $10 MSO Fee  
A big group of our swimmers participate in Tri-athlons and marathons. We try to keep track of the marathons and tri-athlons that our members participate in. See News page for some of these.

Social Events

Sunday morning is an early morning practice after practice we go to Artizano to hang out and socialize.
When you spend as much time as we do together in the pool, it's nice to gather in a party setting, so:
We have a Christmas Party. It is well attended and helps us get to know new members.
In June we wind up the season with a Season ending party.  The awards are presented to deserving members in a number of categories:
  • Most Improved Male
  • Most Improved Female
  • Female Rookie
  • Most Improved Tri-Swimmer
  • Mayor's Cup
  • Beached Whale
  • Ian Holt Award (for helping the club in some special way)
